It's a been a long time!

I have not had the opportunity to post here in a long time; however, I am going to aim to get better at this as it is so important. Since my last post, our family has changed dramatically! I am now 7 months pregnant with our second boy, Jackson is growing by leaps and bounds and Jeremy has switched to a job in Buda.

Jackson is such a blessing to us! Jeremy and I are amazed everyday at how much he is learning and how funny he can truly be. He loves the water and also loves to dance as evidenced below. :)




We are trying to get ready for our next blessing's arrival into this world, but that is proving difficult with work and being a parent already. I hear that this is normal for the second one, but I am very anxious to get this nursery done. We are having a Dr. Seuss theme for Jared!

Zoo!

First Visit to the Zoo (April 24th)

Jackson absolutely loved the zoo! We lucked out with perfect weather that weekend. :)

Facing Obstacles!

Hello!

So Jackson has begun to sit on his own now which is awesome! He has a new sense of independence and enjoys sitting down while he plays with blocks or his basket of shaped blocks that his Nonna gave to him. This past Wednesday we went to Portrait Innovations for a photo shoot of Jackson and it went really well. The hardest part was figuring out which ones to purchase! What is a mother to do? :)

Our family has been faced with some challenging obstacles, but I am confident that we will get over this soon and move forward. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

Jackson is babbling!

It has taken Jackson quite some time to get well, but I do believe that he is on the road to recovery! Jeremy and I have really enjoyed watching Jackson develop quickly over these last few weeks. First of all I have to say that it is adorable how much he loves us, his parents! We get a huge kick out of his big smile when Jackson recognizes us.

The other day, Jackson began to babble. He really likes to day da-da many times in a row with a huge grin on his face. He will also make many expressions with his face, so funny.

Jeremy and I consider ourselves to be very blessed to have our little guy. In fact, it's hard now to remember how life was without him!
